Dense Coding Based on
نویسنده
چکیده
We analyse the Bennett-Wiesner dense quantum coding scheme for non-maximally entangled carriers of information. Our generalisation shows that the detection scheme proposed by Bennett and Wiesner is optimal even when the entanglement is not perfect. We comment on the optical realisation of the scheme.

Quantum Secure Direct Communication Based on Dense Coding and Detecting Eavesdropping with Four-Particle Genuine Entangled State
A novel quantum secure direct communication protocol based on four-particle genuine entangled state and quantum dense coding is proposed. In this protocol, the four-particle genuine entangled state is used to detect eavesdroppers, and quantum dense coding is used to encode the message. Finally, the security of the proposed protocol is discussed. During the security analysis, the method of entro...
متن کاملAn entanglement measure based on the capacity of dense coding
An asymptotic entanglement measure for any bipartite states is derived in the light of the dense coding capacity optimized with respect to local quantum operations and classical communications. General properties and some examples with explicit forms of this entanglement measure are investigated.
متن کاملQuantum Secure Direct Communication using Entanglement and Super Dense Coding
This paper introduces a new quantum protocol for secure direct communication. This protocol is based on Entanglement and Super-Dense coding. In this paper we present some basic definitions of entanglement in quantum mechanics, present how to use the maximally entangled states known as Bell States, and super dense coding technique to achieve secure direct message communication. Finally, we will ...
متن کاملOn quantum advantage in dense coding
The quantum advantage of dense coding is studied, considering general encoding quantum operations. Particular attention is devoted to the case of many senders, and it is shown that restrictions on the possible operations on the senders’ side may make some quantum state useless for dense-coding. It is shown, e.g., that some states are useful for dense coding if the senders can communicate classi...
متن کاملSparse and dense coding of natural stimuli by distinct midbrain neuron subpopulations in weakly electric fish.
While peripheral sensory neurons respond to natural stimuli with a broad range of spatiotemporal frequencies, central neurons instead respond sparsely to specific features in general. The nonlinear transformations leading to this emergent selectivity are not well understood. Here we characterized how the neural representation of stimuli changes across successive brain areas, using the electrose...
